I started studying photography at the age of 17 whilst doing my A' Levels at the Guernsey Grammar School. I was also studying Theatre Studies and English Literature, so I was either buried in a book, the darkroom or on stage and my camera was never far from my side.
I later went on to obtain a BA (Hons) in Photography at The University of Wolverhampton, with some extra studies at Buffalo University New York, graduating in 2000. I then trained as an actor at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre school for two years, and started taking my fellow classmates headshots on the side. After moving to London in 2003 I decided to set up the business in-between acting gigs and David Price Photography was born.
For over a decade I've been specialising in photography for London actor's, artists and performers. I honed my style at my boutique studio in Hackney, East London, combining editorial and headshot photography to help fellow performers market themselves.
Since 2015 I've been dividing my time between London and Los Angeles working on a variety of creative projects, both behind and in front of the camera.
Always interested in collaborations, so drop me a line if you've got a great idea and let's play! (I'll bring my bucket and spade).
