David got hooked on photography after picking up his first camera at the age of 17 when he started studying A' level photography at the Guernsey Grammar School in the Channel Islands.
He then went on to obtain a BA (Hons) in photography at The University of Wolverhampton, with extra studies at SUNY, Buffalo, New York. Graduating in 2000. Soon after relocating to London to work as a photographer.
Since 2003 David has been specialising in photography for London actor's, artists and performers. For over a decade David honed his style at his boutique studio in Hackney, East London, combining editorial and headshot photography to help performers market themselves.
David shoots digital but comes from an analog background and is skilled in both 35mm, 120mm 5x4 and is an accomplished studio photographer and even develops his own film on occasion. He currently shoots in studio on Canon DSLR's with a selection of prime lenses and uses Bowens Pro-Studio lighting.
Since 2015 David divides his time between London and Los Angeles working on a variety of creative projects.
